Canvas, fine-art rag and photographic papers behave differently. This guide explains what is physically in our studio, why we use it and which artwork each surface serves best.
Choose by purpose
The material is part of the artwork.
We do not offer one shared list across every print type. Canvas media appears only for canvas; cotton rag papers only for fine-art paper; photographic papers only for poster and photo printing.
Neptune Natural Matt Canvas 400
Heavyweight 100% cotton canvas with a natural warm base and a tactile, irregular weave.
Smooth Rag 310
100% cotton, smooth matt, natural white, acid-free and OBA-free for quiet tonal work and refined detail.
Baryta Rag 310
100% cotton baryta-style satin paper for deep blacks, controlled sheen and photographic presence.
Oyster 271
A bright-white pearl/satin photographic paper with vivid colour, bold contrast and fast drying.
Photo Lustre 310
A substantial, robust lustre paper for saturated colour, strong blacks and premium photographic presentation.
Canon Satin Photo Paper 200
A clean, economical satin photo paper for posters, display graphics and photographic prints.
Cotton canvas matters
Water resistance is not a quality grade.
A water-resistant receiving coating can be useful, but it does not tell you whether the base is natural cotton, polycotton or polyester. For Golden Ads fine-art canvas, we choose a heavyweight 100% cotton base because fibre, weave, hand and surface character remain visible in the finished artwork.

No material is substituted without agreement. Availability, image character, final size and presentation are checked before production.
